The Texans add another top-notch weapon to their roster with the signing of 1,000-yard receiver Stefan Diggs.

Stefon Diggs clears physical exam and officially becomes a member of the Texans

After passing his physical on Thursday, Stefan Diggs has officially joined the Houston Texans. The team announced his arrival to the roster, adding him to their impressive list of recent acquisitions which already includes running back Joe Mixon and edge rusher Danielle Hunter. This offseason marks a unique milestone in NFL history as the Texans have added a 1,000-yard receiver, a 1,000-yard running back, and a 10-plus sack edge rusher in the same offseason.

Diggs, who is 30 years old, will be joining a receiving corps that already includes Nico Collins, Tank Dell, and Noah Brown. Additionally, the Texans re-signed tight end Dalton Schultz this offseason. Diggs has earned Pro Bowl honors in each of the past four seasons with the Bills and has an impressive record of six consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. With his addition to the team’s roster, Diggs will undoubtedly strengthen their offense and provide them with an excellent weapon for attacking opposing defenses.

The Texans pursued Diggs after missing out on a deal for Keenan Allen but ultimately decided to sign him instead. Despite offering similar compensation to the Bears for Allen, Houston was unable to secure the deal due to various reasons. However, Diggs proved to be an excellent addition to their team after signing him on a one-year contract worth $9 million guaranteed.
