Exploring the Future of Science and Technology: The Las Vegas Science & Technology Festival

Exciting Las Vegas Science & Technology Festival Offers 40+ Free Events

In southern Nevada, the Las Vegas Science & Technology Festival has commenced, running from April 26 to May 4. With over 40 events planned, attendees can immerse themselves in activities such as exploring the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, going behind-the-scenes at the Bellagio Fountains, and participating in a community art workshop at Omega Mart at AREA15. The festival aims to bring science out of textbooks and into the real world, inspiring the next generation of innovators in the community.

Alexandra Liebman, director of the Las Vegas Science and Technology Festival, stated that the event provides businesses with a great opportunity to offer resources, activities, and chances for youth to learn more about their organization, careers, and the science and technology they use in their daily operations. The festival concludes with a Science and Technology Expo at the World Market Center on May 4, where a $1,000 prize will be awarded to the CCSD school with the highest student and family attendance at the Expo.

All events during the festival are free and open to the public; however, registration is required due to limited space and availability. To view a complete list of events and register, visit the festival’s website.
