World Emblem: Customizing Patches for the Big Leagues since 1990

Houston-based World Emblem commemorates its 30th anniversary in business

For three decades, World Emblem has been producing high-quality patches and emblems for clients all over the world. The family-owned company first started as a small shop in New Jersey before expanding to nine locations across the globe. With over 1,000 employees, World Emblem is one of the largest patch and emblem manufacturers in the world.

World Emblem’s products are not just limited to large corporations, but they also accommodate small orders with no minimum quantity requirement. Whether you need one garment embroidered or 10,000 garments stitched, they can do it all. Some of their notable clients include the NFL, Levi’s, New Era, and Perry Ellis.

Chief Operating Officer Jim Kozel shared with ABC13’s Localish team that their work is entirely customized, making them stand out from competitors. “It’s all customized and it’s amazing,” he said. “You’ll be walking through there, and you’ll see some of the biggest name brands that we’re stitching out.”

Recently, ABC13’s Localish team visited World Emblem for a behind-the-scenes tour to witness how thousands of custom patches are produced every day. The tour showed how each order is carefully crafted by skilled artisans who use state-of-the-art equipment to bring their designs to life.
