USTA-PCSFN Partnership: Promoting Nutrition and Physical Activity in Communities Through Tennis

USTA collaborates with White House sports and nutrition committee as the first national governing body

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) has made history by partnering with the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness and Nutrition (PCSFN), as announced at the Miami Open. The partnership aims to promote nutrition and physical activity in communities where tennis is played.

The PCSFN, established in 1956, is a federal advisory committee focused on improving the health and wellness of Americans through sports and physical activity. This collaboration between the USTA and PCSFN will bring national health and nutrition programs to communities across the country, making a positive impact on individuals’ lives.

During the announcement, second gentleman Douglas Emhoff expressed gratitude to the USTA for their dedication to this important work. He emphasized the significance of this partnership in advancing President Biden, Vice President Harris, and the Biden-Harris Administration’s efforts to combat hunger and promote healthy communities in the United States. This collaboration exemplifies the commitment of both organizations to improving the well-being of individuals through sports, fitness, and nutrition initiatives.
