Union-Endicott High School’s technology department honored with Program of Excellence Award

The Union-Endicott High School technology department has been honored with the Program of Excellence Award by the New York State Technology Education & Engineering Association. The award was presented to teachers Corey Munn, Mike Wichowski, and Tom Palazzo at the NYSTEA annual conference.

The department offers a variety of programs including welding, automotive, flight simulation, and carpentry, and has experienced significant growth in enrollment over the past few years.

Corey Munn, an engineering teacher at the school, expressed his gratitude for the award. He said it is a great honor to be recognized by his peers for the hard work put into the program. The Program of Excellence Award is one of the highest honors given by the New York State Technology & Engineering Educators Association. As a result of this recognition, Union-Endicott High School will be representing New York State for the International Technology Educators & Engineering Association’s Program of Excellence Award.
