Total Solar Eclipse Viewing: A Unique Experience at Johnson City’s Science Mill

Space is limited at Science Mill for eclipse viewing

Johnson City’s Science Mill is offering a unique opportunity to view the April 8 total solar eclipse. This rare astronomical event will allow visitors to witness the moon completely blocking out the sun for approximately 4 minutes starting at 1:35 p.m. on that Monday.

The museum, located near the path of totality, provides an ideal spot to experience this celestial phenomenon. Each ticket for the solar eclipse viewing includes regular museum admission for four people, four solar eclipse-viewing glasses, and a designated parking space in the west parking lot off of U.S. 290.

However, parking availability is subject to weather conditions and can only be guaranteed inside the west parking lot where the event will take place. To reserve your tickets or for more information, visit sciencemill.org or call 844-263-6405 and email info@sciencemill.org.

Due to its popularity, walk-ins will not be permitted on April 8th, so it’s important to secure your spot ahead of time. The Science Mill is situated at 101 S Lady Bird Lane and offers easy accessibility for those interested in attending this incredible event! Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity!
