Hungarian Nationals: Kristof Milak, World Record Holder, Prepares for Comeback

The Hungarian National Championships of 2024 mark the return of world record holder Kristof Milak to competition after being largely out of the pool since last April’s Championships. The 24-year-old is entered in six events, including freestyle and butterfly races. Milak already holds Olympic Qualification Times in the 100m and 200m fly from last year’s competition and aims to be in top form for the Paris Olympics.

Notable competitors at the Hungarian Nationals include Zalan Sarkany, who recently set a PAC-12 conference record in the men’s 1650y freestyle. Nikolett Padar, Gabor Zombori, and Boglarka Kapas are also among the talented field set to compete in the Championships.
