Snohomish Girls Tennis Team Defeats Edmonds-Woodway with Ease; Softball and Soccer Games Postponed Due to Weather

In recent matches, the girls tennis team from Snohomish emerged victorious over Edmonds-Woodway with a final score of 6-1. In singles matches, Emerson Norris, Hannah Wells, Mak Dauer, and Anna Steiner from Snohomish all secured wins against their opponents from Edmonds-Woodway. The doubles teams of Bri Ulrich/Lauren Ellis and Lucy Danitschek/Val Landa-Contreras also contributed to the win for Snohomish. After the match, the team records stood at Snohomish 4-0 and Edmonds-Woodway 1-1.

Unfortunately, the matches between Mountlake Terrace and Marysville Getchell, as well as Monroe and Lynnwood were postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions. In softball, Kamiak defeated Lynnwood 10-2 with standout performances from Scarlette Chapman, Tyler Karabach, and Aliya Boonsripisal. Lynnwood’s Nyree Johnson, Briar Knoth, and Ashara Taylor also contributed to the game.

Monroe secured a win against Edmonds-Woodway with a score of 20-5 in a recent match. No specific details were reported about the game. In boys’ soccer, Mount Si defeated Lynnwood 8-0 in another match that did not provide further details about the game’s outcome. After the soccer match, Mount Si’s record was 5-0 while Lynnwood’s record stood at 2-2-1.

Lynnwood’s next softball game is scheduled against Stanwood while Edmonds-Woodway will face Cascade in an upcoming match. Lynnwood’s boys soccer team will play against Arlington in another game to be held at their respective high schools.
