Science and Mathematics Education Institute Summer Camps: Filling Up Fast with STEM Fun for Grades 4-8!

Register today for Fort Hays State University’s science and math children’s summer camps.

Fort Hays State University’s Science and Mathematics Education Institute (SMEI) is hosting summer camps for students in grades four through eight. These popular camps are filling up quickly, with a maximum of two camps allowed per student.

The camps run for four days a week, from Monday to Thursday, with each session lasting for three hours. Morning camps are from 9 a.m. to noon, while afternoon camps are from 1 to 4 p.m. The camps cover a variety of STEM topics and hands-on activities.

Some of the camps offered this year include Main Street Math Camp for grades four through six, A Sense of Place: Designing for Folklore and Fairytale Camp for grades five through eight, Camp North Star for grades five through seven, and specialized robotics camps for different grade levels.

The registration fee for each camp is $70, and the deadline to register is Friday, May 3. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of two camps per student.
