Santa Monica Welcomes Three New Businesses with Ribbon-Cutting Ceremonies: Oasis Restaurant, Bandit E-Bikes, and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

Local officials express joy and positivity from new business openings

In recent weeks, Santa Monica has welcomed three new businesses to its community with ribbon-cutting ceremonies organized by the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce. On March 25, Oasis Restaurant was the first business to receive a celebration at 1413 5th St. The vast space was highlighted during the ceremony, with a $10,000 donation from Los Angeles Football Club and Pepsi as part of the Pepsi Dig In initiative supporting black-owned businesses.

Two days later, Bandit E-Bikes, a bicycle service and repair shop, opened its doors thanks to Richard Cao and Hansel Cisneros. Chamber members and local officials had a fun experience with the e-bikes at the 930c Broadway location, with Mayor Phil Brock even taking a test ride on one of the bikes.

On March 28, the Medical Center of Santa Monica located at 2021 Santa Monica Blvd, near Providence Saint John’s Health Center, welcomed a Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf location. National coffee chain executives and new store owner Jason Park were present at the event alongside the Chamber and local officials to celebrate the opening of the new coffee shop.
