Roman Reigns: The WWE Champion With the Most to Prove at WrestleMania XL

Which WWE superstar holds the record for the most world titles? And who has the longest reigns in history?

Roman Reigns has been reigning as the WWE champion for over three years now, with his championship run still going strong. As he prepares for WrestleMania XL, everyone is wondering if he can continue this streak and how it ranks in WWE history.

Who are the wrestlers with the most world title reigns in WWE history? The record for the longest reign belongs to Bruno Sammartino, who held the title for an impressive seven years. However, modern stars like Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and CM Punk have also had significant title runs that lasted well over a year.

Reigns currently ranks fourth on the list of longest title reigns, with over 1,299 days and counting. In terms of the most world title reigns in WWE history, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair and John Cena are at the top of the list. They have continually reinvented themselves and made their opponents look exceptional in the ring. Among active, full-time WWE stars, Randy Orton leads the way with 14 reigns followed by Reigns and CM Punk with six each.
