Gaza dentist forced to treat patients in tent after clinic in Israel destroyed

Despite the devastating bombing that destroyed his clinic in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian dentist Najdat Saqr has remained committed to providing care for his patients. Even though the clinic was destroyed, Saqr refused to let it deter him from continuing his work. He retrieved equipment from under the rubble and set up a tent to resume his practice.

Today, Saqr has opened a temporary clinic in a tent in the Nuseirat refugee camp, where he continues to provide essential dental care to those in need. Despite the challenges he faces, such as the lack of electricity and water at the clinic, Saqr remains determined to provide quality care to his patients.

Saqr is proudly displaying his vocational qualification certificates on the tent poles, which he managed to salvage from the rubble of his clinic. These certificates remind him of his commitment to maintaining high standards in his practice and serving the community.

Through resilience and resourcefulness, Saqr has overcome obstacles to ensure that his clinic continues to offer essential services to the people of Gaza. His dedication to his profession and his patients is unwavering, and he remains committed to serving the community despite challenging circumstances.
