Rapoport Reveals Falcons to Sign Defensive Tackle Eddie Goldman for Fresh Start in Upcoming Season.

Eddie Goldman set to make a comeback with the Falcons

The Falcons have let go of defensive tackle Eddie Goldman from their reserve/left squad list, but it appears that another transaction involving him and the team may be on the horizon. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Goldman is expected to sign a new deal with the team.

Goldman initially signed with the Falcons in July 2022, but he retired shortly after. However, he returned to the active roster last March before leaving once again in July without ever playing a game for them. His most recent on-field action was during the 2021 season with the Bears, where he appeared in 14 games and recorded 22 tackles and a half-sack. Due to COVID concerns, Goldman opted out of the 2020 season, which means his only recent playing time is from that season.

Despite his absence from the field recently, Goldman’s skill and potential are evident, and it seems that the Falcons are eager to bring him back into their fold. The upcoming new deal signifies a fresh start for Goldman with the team, and fans will be excited to see how he performs in this upcoming season.
