Newly Acquired Titans Cornerback, L’Jarius Sneed Dispels Rumors About Knee Injury Impacting Trade Market

L’Jarius Sneed of the Titans claims ‘my knee is perfectly fine’ following $76 million contract extension

The Tennessee Titans held a news conference to introduce their newly acquired $55 million cornerback, L’Jarius Sneed. During the conference, reporters questioned Sneed about rumors that his knee had impacted his trade market. However, Sneed assured everyone that there was nothing wrong with his knee and he was in good health. He emphasized that he played the entire season without any issues and only experienced minor knee problems in the past.

Despite reports of a knee injury last season affecting his trade value, Sneed has been durable over the past few years for the Kansas City Chiefs. In fact, he missed part of his rookie year in 2020 with a broken collarbone but has only missed three games in three seasons since then. The Titans were confident in Sneed’s health and were able to successfully complete the trade and sign him to a lucrative contract.

The Chiefs faced salary cap constraints after winning back-to-back Super Bowls and were unable to retain Sneed. They granted him permission to seek a trade, and now he will be joining the Titans as they undergo changes in coaching staff. Brian Callahan will take over head coaching duties from Mike Vrabel as the team begins a new chapter.
