Jefferson & Madison County Departments of Health Chronic Disease Committee is organizing a wellness expo to celebrate National Colo-rectal Cancer Awareness Month. The event will be held at the First Baptist Church of Monticello from 4 to 7 p.m. and will feature over 30 vendors, including free health screenings, disaster-preparedness information, giveaways, and more.
Administrator Kimberly Allbritton explains the importance of events like the wellness expo in promoting colo-rectal health awareness and providing valuable information to the community. The expo will also offer free produce giveaways and cooking demonstrations by Second Harvest of the Big Bend.
The wellness expo aims to educate attendees about colo-rectal health and promote healthy living through a variety of resources and vendors. It’s a great opportunity for the public to learn more about health and wellness in the Monticello area. Don’t miss out on this chance to attend!
