Kentucky Baseball Makes History by Qualifying for College World Series.

Watching Kentucky in the College World Series: TV Schedule and How to Tune In

The Kentucky baseball team has made history by qualifying for the College World Series for the first time ever. While their first opponent is yet to be determined, the Wildcats now have a set schedule for their games in Omaha.

Kentucky will face the winner of Georgia vs. NC State on Saturday, June 15 at 2 pm EST. The game will be broadcast on ESPN and Kentucky will be the home team for the matchup. Currently, Georgia and NC State are tied 2-2 in game three of the Athens Super Regional.

If Kentucky emerges victorious in their opening game, they will face an SEC team, the winner of Florida vs. Texas A&M, on Monday at 7 pm EST on ESPN. However, a loss in the opener would send Kentucky to the losers bracket, where they would play in the daytime game on ESPN.

The College World Series features two brackets of eight teams each, with the winners of the double-elimination brackets advancing to the finals, a best-of-three series.

ESPN is the official broadcast partner for the College World Series, with games also available for streaming on ESPN+. Listeners can tune in to Darren Headrick and former Kentucky manager Keith Madison on the call through the UK Sports Network.
