Jets Open Door to Corey Davis’ Return: Could Join Garrett Wilson and Mike Williams in Strong Receiving Group

Corey Davis in talks with Jets for potential reunion

Recently, the Jets have been in discussions about reuniting with wide receiver Corey Davis. The team’s head coach, Robert Saleh, stated that they are regularly in contact with Davis and their door is always open to him. SNY’s Connor Hughes reported that the Jets are interested in bringing back the 6-foot-3 wideout who spent the first four years of his career with the Tennessee Titans before signing with the Jets in 2021.

During his time in New York, Davis showed promise as a valuable weapon in the offense, recording 66 receptions for 1,028 yards and six touchdowns. If he rejoins the Jets, Davis could continue to contribute positively to the team’s offense alongside Garrett Wilson and Mike Williams, providing them with a strong receiving group.

In August, Davis took a break from the NFL but recently applied for reinstatement, allowing him to potentially make a return to the field. If successful, it would be beneficial for the Jets’ wide receiving corps and could help them achieve their goals for the upcoming season.
