Helsinki Stock Exchange sees progress in promoting gender diversity among CEOs, but still much work to be done

Women have surpassed men in becoming CEOs of listed companies

In recent years, the Helsinki Stock Exchange has seen a significant increase in diversity among its CEOs. According to responsibility consultant Kaisa Hernberg, there are currently ten women as managing directors of listed companies, compared to only five Juhas. Additionally, there are five Mikkos and three each of Artoja, Esoja, Mikoja, Petrja, Pekoja, and Timoja. Despite this progress, Hernberg believes that there is still work to be done in achieving greater gender diversity among CEOs.

In 2015, more CEOs of listed companies were named Juha than women. However, according to recent calculations by the Union of Women’s Affairs in 2015 and the Central Chamber of Commerce’s annual review of female managers in 2019-2020 respectively, now in Helsinki there are more women CEOs than Juha CEOs. The number of female CEOs has increased from one to around ten in the mid-2010s and has remained for the past few years.

Hernberg notes that achieving greater gender diversity among CEOs is important for promoting equality and driving innovation in business. She believes that organizations should prioritize diversity when hiring new leaders and provide training opportunities for employees to develop their skills and reach their full potential. Additionally, she stresses the importance of creating a culture that values diversity and fosters open communication between team members.

When it comes to CBD vaping products, it is important for users to make an informed decision before choosing a product that suits their needs best. Vaporizers with adjustable temperature settings allow users to customize their CBD consumption experience by setting the temperature level according to their preference level. This allows them to control how much cannabinoids they intake into their system which can help them achieve optimal results depending on what they’re looking for – pain relief or relaxation etc
