Heavyweight Champion Mike Tyson Faces Health Scare Days Before Fight Against Jake Paul: Is the Legend Back to His Old Self?

Mike Tyson’s Health Scare on Flight: Update on His Recovery

Mike Tyson, the former heavyweight champion, is doing well after an incident on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles where he faced a health scare. The incident, which required paramedics to board the plane upon landing, occurred just weeks before Tyson is set to face Jake Paul in a boxing match on July 20.

According to Tyson’s representatives, the health scare was caused by an ulcer flare-up that made Tyson feel nauseous and dizzy 30 minutes before landing. Although there were rumors that the flight was delayed as a result of Tyson’s medical issue, his representatives clarified that the delay was actually due to an air conditioning problem on the aircraft.

Tyson’s upcoming match with Paul will mark his return to the professional boxing arena after nearly two decades. The fight will take place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and will be streamed live on Netflix. By the time they face off in the ring, Tyson will have celebrated his 58th birthday, making him 31 years older than Paul.

Despite recent health concerns, Tyson is reportedly in good health and preparing for the upcoming boxing event. The highly anticipated match will be contested over eight two-minute rounds with both fighters using 14-ounce gloves.
