Hawaiian Electric Set to Conduct Aerial Inspections of Infrastructure in Kā’anapali using Drones

Drone Technology Used for Hawaiian Electric Aerial Inspections in Kāʻanapali Area on April 3: Maui Now

On April 3, 2024, at 4:00 AM HST, Hawaiian Electric will be conducting aerial inspections of its infrastructure in the Kāʻanapali, West Maui area using drones. The inspections are scheduled to take place from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, weather permitting.

Hawaiian Electric’s Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) program is fully compliant with all Federal Aviation Administration rules.
