Praise for Getty Images Photographers at the SJA British Sports Journalism Awards

Getty Images, a global visual content creator and marketplace, has recently been recognized for its photographers’ excellence at the SJA British Sports Journalism Awards 2023 in London. The awards celebrate outstanding achievements in sports journalism, and Getty Images photographers were honored in several categories.

Justin Setterfield, a Getty Images photographer, won the prestigious Ed Lacey Trophy for SJA Sports Photographer of the Year for the fifth time in six years. He also took first place in the Football Portfolio category. Clive Brunskill received the Phil Sheldon Trophy for Specialist Portfolio for his extensive tennis coverage, while Ryan Pierse claimed the Sports Picture of the Year award for his stunning underwater surfing image at the Paris 2024 Olympics test event.
