Police say man sought after attempted robbery at Dunham’s Sports

On Sunday morning, a masked individual broke into Dunham’s Sports in Benton Township and smashed a gun case, reported WSJM Radio. The incident occurred around 10 a.m., and the suspect attempted to steal handguns from the store. However, when employees reacted to the situation, the suspect fled without taking any firearms with him.

This is the second attempted robbery at Dunham’s Sports in the past six months. In December, two individuals were arrested for forcibly taking the store manager and stealing two large coolers full of guns. The store has now fallen victim to yet another robbery attempt, prompting law enforcement to seek the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
