Taylor Heise was born in a basketball family, but her love for hockey started at a young age. She always felt like an outsider, but she found her passion on the ice and has been pursuing it ever since. After playing college hockey at the University of Minnesota, she was drafted into the PWHL and is now a member of Team USA preparing for the IIHF Women’s World Championship in Utica.

Heise has had a successful season in the PWHL, scoring four goals and seven assists in just 14 games. She is grateful for the opportunity to play hockey and learn from others who have dedicated their lives to the sport. She recognizes that women’s sports have come a long way over the years, thanks to the hard work and dedication of those who came before her.

As Heise prepares for her third World Championship with Team USA, she is excited to bring her skills and dedication to the ice as she represents her country in this tournament. She hopes that her success will inspire others to pursue their dreams and follow their passions, no matter how unconventional they may be.
