DXC Technology Appoints Kylie Watson as APAC and MEA Leader to Drive Cybersecurity Initiatives

Kylie Watson appointed as the APAC security lead at DXC Technology

DXC Technology has appointed Kylie Watson as the new leader for Asia Pacific (APAC) and the Middle East and Africa (MEA) regions. With her base in Sydney, Watson will oversee cybersecurity initiatives for DXC’s customers throughout these regions. She will work on providing advisory and managed security services to improve the cyber posture of these areas.

Watson joined DXC earlier this year as the head of security for Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ). Prior to her role at DXC, she was a partner at PwC Australia, specializing in cybersecurity and digital trust. With an extensive background in IT in countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Thailand, Watson has held leadership positions at major companies like SAP, Deloitte, HP, and IBM.

Excited about her new role, Watson expressed confidence in DXC’s ability to deliver expert services and threat intelligence to their customers. She emphasized the importance of spreading awareness about smart cyber resilience strategies to help organizations withstand security threats.
