Bango Honors Champions of Racine Elementary School’s Fresh Air Science Fair

Recently, students from Julian Thomas Elementary School in Racine were recognized for their participation in a two-month-long Fresh Air Science Fair. The fair began on February 1st and saw teams of fifth graders working on projects related to clean air pollution concepts. Entries were judged based on the quality of research, data analysis, and creativity of presentation.

The award ceremony took place on March 27th, where the winners were announced and prizes were awarded. Milwaukee Bucks mascot Bango and the trampoline dunking team, the Rim Rockers, made a special appearance at the event. The first-place team members received three tickets to the April 10 Bucks game against the Orlando Magic, transportation to and from the game, and concession stand vouchers to use at Fiserv Forum during the game. Second and third-place teams were awarded Bucks merchandise.

This collaborative effort between Modine, Milwaukee Bucks, Racine Unified School District, and United Way of Racine County was a huge success. Congratulations to all the participants for their hard work and creative projects!
